Subhashish Roy Chowdhury is an Indian midfielder who has been associated with Mohun Bagan on more than one occasion. Currently Subhashish is on loan from Prayag United. Subhashish, who has represented India at the U-19 level, U-21 level and the Olympic qualifiers has also played for other Kolkata clubs like Prayag United and East Bengal.

Born in Kolkata, Subhashish impressed coach Bubu Chatterjee at a young age and earned himself a berth in the East Bengal junior team. In 1997, after two impressive years with the junior team, Subhashish signed for East Bengal and has since then played for some of India's biggest clubs.

" I would like to tell them to strive hard to reach their goals. I run a coaching camp in my locality to help young footballers. My aim is to develop a few skilled footballers that can mould the future of Indian football. Some of the players from the camp have been called for U-19 trials and it makes me feel very proud. I will continue to keep working towards developing football. "

Subhashish likes to listen to music and travel. He says football keeps him busy for most parts of the year and so during the off-season he likes travelling to cold places. His favourite international destinations are Mauritius and Sweden.
