Santosh Trophy: Services and Tamil Nadu to play final

Services were the first team to advance to the final of the 66th Santosh Trophy after they beat Kerala 2-1 on Friday. In the second semifinal played on Saturday, Tamil Nadu outclassed Manipur and scored a goal in each half to seal a passage to the final with a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Subrata Sarkar opened the scoring for Tamil Nadu in the 5th minute and doubled their lead in the 50th minute when Marsook scored an own goal. Vineet Anthony pulled one back for Kerala by converting from the spot in the 83rd minute.

In the second semifinal, Reagan opened the scoring for Tamil Nadu in the 35th minute and substitute M David finished a counterattacking move in the 85th minute to take Tamil Nadu into the finals.
