Santosh Trophy: Karnataka make an early exit

Day 5 of Santosh Trophy saw final round action in five of the seven clusters. Delhi (Cluster I), Kerala (Cluster II), Meghalaya (Cluster III), Maharashtra (Cluster IV) and Uttar Pradesh (Cluster V), went through to the quarterfinal on an all win record. The major upset in the initial stages of the tournament was Uttar Pradesh pipping Karnataka in cluster V to make it to the quarterfinals.
