Press conference on 2nd May at club tent

McDowell Mohun Bagan has resumed practice after a break of approximately 2 weeks. They will be playing their last I league match against Pune FC on the 6th of May.

Incidentally, this will be the last match of Jose Barreto in Kolkata wearing the green and maroon jersey, though after this match he will be playing the Kolkata Premier League match against Prayag United to be held in Siliguri.

In today's practice session, Jose Barreto scored a gem of a goal. Getting a pass from Sunil Chhetri, he got the ball with his back towards the opponent goal. Making a sharp turn, he unleashed a shot that hit the post and went in. Hope, he scores a goal in his last match and help McDowell Mohun Bagan to finish above Pune FC in the league table.

A Press Conference will be held on Wednesday, 2nd May 2012 from 5 pm onwards at the Club Tent in the Maidan where Mr. Jose Barreto; Mr. Anjan Kumar Mitra, Managing Director, McDowell Mohun Bagan; and Mr. Debashis Dutta, Director, McDowell Mohun Bagan would address the Media regarding the long association of Jose Barreto with our Club.
 
In the same Press Conference, the Club will also announce the Co Sponsorship of McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz with Newland Agro Industries Limited where Mr. Dipankar De, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Newland Agro Industries Limited would be present.

Meanwhile, Kingfisher East Bengal defender Nirmal Chetri said in Twitter, "It was tough decision to make..I'm mentally & physically ready to make a move to Mohun Bagan..New Challenges, New Surrounding and Hopes!"
