Odafa Okolie joins practice

Odafa Okolie joined practice session of McDowell Mohun Bagan for the first time this season held in club ground.

Tomorrow, McDowell Mohun Bagan will play a practice match against BNR to be held in Salt Lake Stadium at 3 p.m.

Coach Santosh Kashyap said Odafa will take a week to tune up his body. He also said, "I will go slow with him and don't want to rush with him. He wanted to play today, so I gave him around 15 minutes time."

During the practice, Odafa took a lot of good shots at the goal. Shilton made a number of good saves but ultimately Odafa managed to score few goals during set-piece movement practice.

Stanley and Tolgay also looked in great touch with Stanley scoring 3 goals in today's training session. Stanley also sent few good through passes towards Tolgay and the former also earned a penalty which was converted by Tolgay.

After today's practice session, Odafa said, "This year we have a good balanced team with a lot of young talented players. I think Mohun Bagan will win trophies this year."

Meanwhile, the All Airlines Gold Cup kicked off yesterday at the Mohun Bagan Ground.
