McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz seminar at HHI a runaway success

Today a seminar was held at the Hotel Hindustan International organized by McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz, where Mr. Mrinal Chakraborty, Sports Psychologist and Motivational Speaker interacted with the Media. Also, Mr. Ankur Salim Siddiqui, Corporate Manger, Sales & Marketing, The HHI, attended the seminar. He said, "We would lend our helping hand for promoting soccer in future also, especially if Mohun Bagan is involved." Special thanks should be given to Hotel Hindustan International for their cooperation to make this event successful.

Mr. Chakraborty mesmerized the audience and drew undivided attention from all sections of the media. Despite being a press meet, Mr. Chakraborty ensured “active participation” from the audience and the interactive session was not just interesting and informative but very thought-provoking as well.

The seminar was divided into 2 parts. Initially, Mr. Chakraborty explained the modern concepts of sports management and how it helps sports persons to improve their ability and performance. He touched upon all the modern concepts of HR management and related these to the mental buildup of a sports person. He also interacted with media during this session.

The 2nd session was basically meant for the boys of McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz. Here, he harped upon the motivational aspects and demonstrated some of the core concepts as well.

He showed a few clippings from famous Hollywood movies like "Forest Gump" and "Rocky" illustrating people winning against all odds.

He asked the students to always believe in themselves and think like a Champion. He continuously tried to impress upon the fact that it is the determination and mental buildup of a player that separates an ordinary from an extraordinary.

He ended the session inspiring all the students present and asked them to self motivate themselves by making them shout aloud "I am the Champion."
