McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz II

Buoyed by the Success of McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz being held at Hrishikesh Park with trainees belonging to Amherst Street and Jorasanko Police Stations of Kolkata, the Club has been granted another similar Project (McDowell Mohun Bagan Kolkata Goalz II).

This new Project has started around mid April 2012 with 90 trainees in the age group of 12-18 years from areas under Burtolla and Girish Park Police Stations. Training in this Project is held at Rabindra Kanan Park (near Girish Park Metro Station) thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. There are a dozen girls as well in this Project and apart from regular football training, these girls are also imparted basic Karate training on Thursdays and Sundays.

To commemorate World Environment Day, the children also planted saplings at Rabindra Kanan Park.
