Emails Exchanged Between MMB and KEB Regarding I-League Derby Tickets

Dear All,

Please find appended below all the emails exchanged between McDowell Mohun Bagan and Kingfisher East Bengal regarding tickets for the I League Derby match scheduled on 20th November 2011 at Yuva Bharati Krirangan.

In addition, please note that like the previous I-League 2011-2012 matches, we have given a VIP ticket to each Governing Body Member of the IFA for the derby match.

Dear Kalyanda,

We had let you known well in advance that general tickets of the Derby match are with us and had asked you to collect them from us and take other categories of tickets on 16th November, but your representative refused to take any ticket.

We have been selling tickets from your Club Tent since Saturday, 12th November for your members and supporters.

However if you want more ordinary tickets, we can provide a total of 25,000 ordinary tickets. You may send your authorised representative to collect the same from our Club Tent, upon payment of money.

As soon as we recieve the car passes from the police authorities, we will send you the 7 VVIP tickets alongwith the car passes.

Since you have allotted only 10,000 General Category tickets for our members / supporters, the same may be sold under your arrangements from our club counter.

No of VIP / dignitaries category tickets you proposed to give to us is too meager for our requirement hence we are unable to draw the same.

If possible 7 nos VVIP tickets and car park passes may please be forwarded to us to meet the requirements of our sponsors.

Ordinary tickets (Gate nos. 4 & 5) : 10,000 @ Rs. 50/-

VIP (M) : 100 @ Rs. 70/-

VIP(R) : 200 @ Rs. 70/-

VIP (Lower Tier) : 200 @ Rs. 60/-

Dignitary : 25 @ Rs. 150/-

VVIP : 7 (FREE)

The undersigned would be present personally between 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Club Tent. You may send your authorised representative with the requisite money within the stipluated time to collect the tickets.

The car Passes are with the Government authorities and we will intimate you as and when we get them.

Dear Mr. Majumdar,

This email, I believe is from you but it has been signed by Gopal Ghosh, we are not able to comprehend why?

We wish to clarify that you have been misinformed by your representative Gopal Ghosh who came to our Club Tent to meet Mr. Debashis Dutta. Mr. Dutta had mentioned that Kingfisher East Bengal was welcome to take as many match tickets of gate nos 4 and 5 and VIP (Right), upon payment of money. Regarding other categories of tickets and car passes, Mr. Dutta informed Gopal that a decision in this regard would be taken by the undersigned by 16th November and he should wait for the remaining tickets till then. But Gopal refused to take any ticket of any category and he went away.

You can send your representative any time before 16th Nov to collect the following tickets:

Ordinary tickets of Gate nos. 4 & 5 : 10,000 @ Rs. 50/-

VIP (R) : 200 @ Rs. 70/-

Regarding other categories of tickets and car passes, you will be intimated on 16th November.

As per our discussion over phone I sent my representatives with a letter written by me to collect the tickets from you on 12th evening but I regret that you refused to hand over the tickets without cash payment about which you have never mentioned to me.

I also came to know that our representatives went to collect the tickets for the second time from your club on 13th Morning as per discussion with Mr. Debahish Dutta by paying cash which he has refused by stating that you will take a decision on 16th and after that you will intimate to us.

Under this situation we request you to confirm exact quantity and category of tickets and Car Parking passes that you want to hand over to us.Please also let us know the cost of the above tickets so that I can send equivalent cash amount with our representatives to collect the same.

We will revert back to you on receipt of your reply.
