Anyichie Echezona and Stanley Okoroigwe join practice

McDowell Mohun Bagan team is currently undergoing their residential preseason conditioning camp going on in Durgapur since July 15th.

The 2 foreign players Anyichie Echezona and Stanley Okoroigwe has joined practice from Monday.

Chief Coach Santosh Kashyap who had gone back to Mumbai on Saturday due to some urgent family work will be joining the training session from today.

Before the camp ends on Saturday, July 28th, McDowell Mohun Bagan might play a friendly match against the Mohun Bagan SAIL Football Academy boys on Friday, July 27th.

The players seemed to be enjoying the training sessions which is mainly consisting of physical training/gym in the morning and practice with the ball in the afternoon.

McDowell Mohun Bagan's first tournament of the season will be the All Airlines Gold Cup where they will play their 1st match (semi final) on the 8th August, 2012. The match will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium and likely kickoff time is 3:15 p.m. The final of this tournament will be held on August 11, 2012 at the Salt Lake Stadium. The 4 preliminary round matches will be held at the Mohun Bagan ground whereas the 2 semi finals and the final match will be held at the Salt Lake Stadium.
