AIFF Calendar for the football season 2012-13

AIFF has recently send a "AIFF Calendar" for the football season 2012-13 to all the football clubs.

According to the calendar, the first tournament of this season organized by AIFF will be the Federation Cup that will likely start from September 15th. The final of the Federation Cup is scheduled to be held on the 30th of September.

The I league will commence on October 6th. Though the detailed fixture of I league is yet to be released by AIFF, but they have fixed the dates of various rounds.

June 23 to July 6 - AFC U-22 Qualifiers

July 24 to August 15 - Senior National Team Preparatory Camp for Nehru Cup

August 16-26 - Nehru Cup

August - Federation Cup 2012-13 qualifiers

September 15-30 - Federation Cup 2012-13 - Final Round.

October 6-7 - Round 1 of I league 2012-13.
October 12-13 - Round 2 of I league 2012-13.
October 27-28 - Round 3 of I league 2012-13.
November 3-4 - Round 4 of I league 2012-13.
November 10-11 - Round 5 of I league 2012-13.
November 17-18 - Round 6 of I league 2012-13.
November 24-25 - Round 7 of I league 2012-13.
November 27-28 - Round 8 of I league 2012-13.
December 1-2 - Round 9 of I league 2012-13.
December 8-9 - Round 10 of I league 2012-13.
December 15-16 - Round 11 of I league 2012-13.
December 22-23 - Round 12 of I league 2012-13.
December 29-30 - Round 13 of I league 2012-13.

January 5-6 - Round 14 of I league 2012-13.
January 8-9 - Round 15 of I league 2012-13.
January 12-13 - Round 16 of I league 2012-13.
January 19-20 - Round 17 of I league 2012-13.
January 27-28 - Round 18 of I league 2012-13.

February 12 to March 1 - Senior National Team Preparatory Camp - AFC Challenge Cup 2014 Qualifiers.

March 2-17 - AFC Challenge Cup 2014 Qualifiers.

March 23-24 - Round 21 of I league 2012-13.
March 27-28 - Round 22 of I league 2012-13.
April 6-7 - Round 23 of I league 2012-13.
April 13-14 - Round 24 of I league 2012-13.
April 20-21 - Round 25 of I league 2012-13.
April 27-28 - Round 26 of I league 2012-13.

The 4 weekends in May 2013 has been kept as reserve days in case of postponement of matches due to unavoidable conditions or because of AFC Cup matches.

SAFF Games will probably be held in the month of February 2013. IOA is yet to confirm the dates, some of the I league games might be affected by this tournament.

AFC Cup fixtures will only be announced in mid December.  This might affect the schedule of few I league teams.

The dates of other tournaments like Durand Cup, IFA Shield, Calcutta Football League Premier Division (not organized by AIFF) has not yet been finalized.

There is a possibility that Rovers Cup might be revived from this year by Western India Football Association. The last time this championship was held was in the 2000-01 season, when Mohun Bagan beat Churchill Brothers from Goa 2-0 in the final.
