Tomorrow the I-League encounter between McDowell Mohun Bagan and Prayag United will start at 2 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m. This decision was taken mainly because in the last match held at the Salt Lake Stadium between McDowell Mohun Bagan and Kingfisher East Bengal, the match was held for 15 minutes due to malfunctioning of floodlight. There will be deferred live telecast of the match in News Time and Ten Action at 6:30 p.m
.
For McDowell Mohun Bagan, Jose Barreto and Jewel Raja are both suspended for the match after picking up double bookings from previous matches. Mariners will miss Anwar Ali, Hudson Lima and Rakesh Masih. Mohanraj has joined practice though he is not completely fit.
The McDowell Mohun Bagan players seemed relaxed and confident at practice after their derby victory. Prasanta Banerjee said "We have warned all the players not to be over-confident. After winning the derby, players seem to relax but that is all in the past; now we need to think about tomorrow's match. Prayag is definitely a very good team and we will have to be careful."
